Escape Cares

We know that everyone has a busy life. We do too, but we feel that it is important to give back to the community at a company and personal level.

To this end, we lend our support to several charities, devoting both time and money to people in need.

Every year, as a company, in our customers' name, we contribute to children in need in the world at-large. Our employees also work very hard generating funds for children experiencing life-threatening illnesses.

On a personal level, our employees gather goods for a local shelter, volunteer in the community and work at various endeavors to make this a better world.

Children, Incorporated

Children, Incorporated is a child sponsorship program which is affiliated with schools, orphanages, and welfare centers around the world and in the United States.

Kid's Christmas Cards

Late in 1997 we initiated a tradition that all of us are very proud of. We decided that we would sponsor a couple of needy children, in the names of our customers, each year at Christmas time. We think this is a much more special gift than a box of chocolates or a gift basket.

Every year the kids send us Christmas cards. They really put their hearts into them. Their drawings are very colorful and full of glitter. Sometimes, they even include a letter telling us about their year and school work. It is wonderful to hear from them and receive their cards.

Give Something Back Business Products

The Give Something Back Business Products started with a basic idea — sell business products for less and donate the profits back to the community. Fifteen years and more than $3 million in donations later, over 13,000 customers have chosen Give Something Back.

Escape Technology started buying their office supplies in the summer of 2007. We hope to eventually buy the majority of our office products from this worthwhile enterprise.

The Special Olympics of Northern California serves over 15,000 individuals with developmental disabilities. From the Oregon border to Monterey and Tulare counties, our athletes have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sports trainings and competitions that take place throughout the year.

Escape Technology is proud to give our dollars and our time to this special event.

Placer County Search and Rescue

The Placer County Search and Rescue is a division of the Placer County Sheriffs Department. The unit members consist of full time and reserve Deputy Sheriff's along with dedicated members of our communities who volunteer their time for this valuable assignment. Each year, numerous search and rescue missions are carried out in all kinds of conditions by these professionals. Incidents can vary from a missing child in fair weather in a residential neighborhood to a rescue of a trapped skier in blizzard conditions in the harsh wilderness back-country.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California is a charitable non-profit organization whose purpose is to grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

For many years, Escape Technology employees put on their fundraising hats to help generate funds for our local Make-a-Wish chapter. We have bake sales, run a snack bar for employees, hold silent auctions and ask all of our friends and family to sponsor us for the walk. And, it pays off!!!
