Visitors to Escape HQ here in Roseville during November and early December kept asking, what's with all the backpacks?
Yes indeed, that was a large pile of backpacks, 24 to be exact! We had received a request from one of our long time customers, North Sacramento ESD. They were attempting to get 400 backpacks for their at risk students.
Here is Escape accountant Dayna Kelsey and CEO Bob Towery modeling a couple of packs. So Escape bought 24 packs, one for each employee. And then each employee filled the packs with the requested items which were school supplies, clothing snacks and the like.
Once they were all loaded up, Escape Customer Care's Carole Williams and Gayle Lucas, both former employees of the district made the delivery to the district office in Sacramento.
It was a great project that we really enjoyed participating in!
