Meet Marino

No, Marino is not a new Escape employee. But he's a well thought of member of the Escape Family:

Escape sponsors several Latin American children through a charity known as Children Inc.

Our sponsorship enables them to stay in a special school for poor families. He looks so happy, we just thought we would share with everyone that reads our blog.

CASBO 2007 - Visiting Escape's Booth

CASBO was a real joy this year, as we could finally say "yes, Escape Online is LIVE!" We had many customers discussing implementation dates and so on. People really enjoyed seeing the software, and of course it is always great for us to visit with friends, whether present, past or future customers.

Escape's Kathy Carlson and Julie Dippold are READY!

One thing you find out when you pull out the camera is that many people are camera shy. Nevertheless we were able to get a couple of shots...

Joan of West Covina is ready to set the date!

Roger of Dry Creek ESD in Placer County is a power user that is helping a great deal with the implementation at his district.

Our hero, Elaine Nielsen of Dublin USD. First live Escape Online payroll - YES!!!

Say it isn't so! Long time friend Ruth Vedovelli, of many bay area districts, tells Escape President Bob Towery that this will be her last CASBO. She is retiring and moving to Colorado! Best wishes from everyone at Escape Ruth, and thanks for all you have done for school business.

Well, we really enjoyed all our visitors, and wish we could have talked more of them into a picture. Thanks everyone for visiting us there. See you next year in Anaheim.

PS: One of our COE customers requested that he be able to take the banner back to the county and show the Superintendents and CBO's that we are in fact live. We had everyone at Escape sign the banner and sent it on down. Enjoy!

From the Escape Archive

The blog post below, about our first Escape Online paychecks, made us recall the very first Escape Classic paychecks. Our first payroll implementation was at North Sacramento ESD, back in 1995.

Here is Celeste and Joanne of North Sac holding the very first Escape paycheck! We are happy to say that they are still Escape users. What a lot of paychecks must have gone through our software there over the many years!

And, of course, their implementation was done by our own Carole Williams:

And we are glad to say that Carole is still with Escape and doing a super job - mainly focusing on our Ventura County implementations at this time. I'm quite sure she is going to love that I dug up this picture!
