New (Escape) World Record!

We have had some large trainings in the past, but nothing like this:

That's 109 people present for HR training. This took place at the Placer County Office of Education last week. This training will be followed by hands-on training/data entry sessions for up to 28 users at a time. It was a great day, lots of good questions and good feedback.

I'm glad we are starting this implementation with the HR group: they are super enthusiastic. It will really get them involved in the entire process. Thank you to everyone that made it to this training, and I look forward to seeing you in the individual sessions!

Got (HR) Data?

Our Placer COE implementation is going great! Our immediate goal is getting the HR/Position Control data imported into Escape Online. Today the data migration team met here at Escape, and we did well. The plan for migrating position records is now in place. There are over 14,000 employees at the Placer districts. Next we will be discussing employee demographics. This Friday begins user training in earnest: over 100 HR users!

I really appreciate working with everyone on this team.

Orange County Escape For A Day Follow Up

Over the last month Escape Customer Care sponsored a series of workshops, dubbed Escape For A Day, where Escape Online 5 was presented to existing customers. Two full-day sessions were held for our Escape Classic integrated system customers: one at our corporate offices in Roseville, the other in Orange County. A half-day session for our Escape Classic departmental system customers was held at Citrus College in the Los Angeles area as well.

The mission for Escape For A Day was to show the new product to our customers, discuss conversion requirements, and give customers the information they need to plan for transition to Online 5. It was also an opportunity to visit with our customers and thank them for their continuing support of our company and products.

All of the sessions were very well attended, with most of our customers represented. Everyone who saw Online 5 loved the product and appreciated our efforts to include all of the functionality of Classic, enhanced by the capabilities of a Windows product. We received some great feedback on new features, and some good ideas which we will attempt to build into the product as development continues. Here are some of the comments we received.

The My Reports activity where I can see all my previous reports is great.
I'm so THRILLED about the program automatically creating benefits accounts when adding a salary account.
This software is so smart; users don't need to know accounting anymore!
Allowing two users to see the same record simultaneously is a fabulous feature.
I will be using the "export to Excel" feature every day!

We have already received commitments from a number of customers to convert to the new product, and continue to receive inquiries daily. Reservations for conversion are on a first come first served basis. Our implementation schedule is booked out to the Fall time frame, and we expect to soon be booked through year end.

We at Escape are very grateful that our customers made time for Escape For A Day, and look forward to journey ahead!
