With one activity, you can enter as much information as necessary.
The employee record holds everything from contact information to education, to experience, to employment requirements, even termination and notes.
If the person holds a credential with your county, the credentials are automatically loaded. In fact, if the person has worked in the county, many fields will default as soon as you enter the social security number.
It is quite easy to assign an employee to a position.
You just select a position and most of the information (like bargaining unit, job category/class, salary schedule and calendar) will automatically load into the assignment.
Escape Online uses two activities for this step: Employee Payroll Setup and Employee Benefits.
Employee Payroll Setup defines the addons, deductions, contributions, taxes, retirement, etc. The activity is very logical with tabs providing an easy-to-follow work flow.
Benefits are separate because so many organizations have dedicated benefits technicians.
Escape Online automatically calculates pay for the entire year every time you change the setup for an employee. So, at any time, you can see exactly what a person's pay will be.
Snapshots can be printed with a click of the mouse from almost any activity. The Employee Payroll Detail snapshot can be printed from the employee record or payroll setup.
